You’ll need a Whitelist NFT to participate in the upcoming beta test, but their utility goes far beyond that. After launch, you’ll be able to swap your NFT for a lootbox with a valuable prize!
WL NFTs and Xyro beta test
Now that we’ve successfully completed the alpha testing stage, the next big event for Xyro is the beta testing. It will last much longer than the alpha test and allow you to accumulate even more points in the competitive airdrop campaign.
To participate in the beta test, you will need a special WL (Whitelist) NFT. That’s right: having a Discord role won’t be enough anymore! The only other way to become a beta tester (if you can’t mint an NFT for some reason) will be with an invite code from someone who’s already joined the beta test.
WL NFTs will be issued on the Arbitrum blockchain. It’s enough to hold just one WL NFT to access the beta test.
WL NFT utility and benefits
Holding a Xyro WL NFT will give you a number of perks:
1) Access to the beta testing campaign, which constitutes the second part of the gamified airdrop. In simple words, if you want to get more airdrop points, you need to join the beta — so you need an NFT;
2) Additional airdrop points depending on the rarity rank of your WL NFT (see below for the rarity system);
3) A lootbox! Once Xyro fully launches, you’ll be able to swap your WL NFT for a lootbox with an awesome prize inside. We won’t reveal the prizes for now, but rest assured that they will be great.
WL NFT rarity ranks
Xyro WL NFTs come in 4 rarity ranks: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
Every wallet can mint only one WL NFT of each rarity rank, so maximum 4 WL NFTs in total. Since different types of NFTs entitle you to different amounts of extra airdrop points and different lootboxes, we suggest that you try to collect all four!
Note: NFT rarity during the mint won’t be random. If you are whitelisted to mint a Common NFT, that’s what you will get. To mint a Rare one, you need to participate in relevant activities, such as get a Xyro Clan role (see the table).
How to mint a Xyro WL NFT
1) First of all, you have to be eligible. As you can see in the table above, if you have an Alpha Tester, Xyro WL or Xyro Clan role on Discord (more info can be found in #💎・how-to-wl channel there), you are already eligible to mint a WL NFT. Of course, this shouldn’t stop you from participating in our giveaways and quests on Discord, because this way you can win an NFT of a higher rarity rank!
Important: we won’t be giving away NFTs themselves — only the right to mint an NFT. Basically we are forming a new whitelist of addresses that can mint a WL NFT, and your task is to get on that list. The list of whitelisted wallets will be updated daily.
2) Once you are whitelisted to mint, make sure that you have the Arbitrum network activated in your wallet and that you have enough ETH on Arbitrum to pay for gas (at least 0,146107 $USDT/0,0000038 $ETH). For example, you can send ETH to an Arbitrum address from a centralized exchange like Binance or Crypto.com, or use a decentralized bridge.
3) Connect the wallet on xyro.io starting from March 13. The app will verify that your wallet is whitelisted. If it is, you’ll be able to mint one or more NFTs — depending on which rarity ranks you are whitelisted for.
Every user can apply up to 10 WL NFTs to collect extra airdrop points. Example:
- Bob participates in lots of activities and gets whitelisted to mint one NFT of each 4 ranks.
- He also receives one Rare NFT and one Epic NFT from other users.
- Now he has 6 NFTs in total, and his extra points count will be: 250 + 500*2 + 1000*2 + 2000 = 5250.
You can also accumulate over 10 NFTs (by receiving them from other addresses), but you won’t get any more airdrop points beyond the 10 rarest NFTs that you hold. This limitation is introduced to prevent manipulations by bots.
